Dear subscribers and readers,

Perhaps you have noticed a few changes on this blog. Over the years, I have had as objective to gather historical events and stories related to the Holy Places in Haifa and Akka. Although all Holy Places are not covered, the list is coming along quite nicely. These blog posts are now gathered under the new page called “Bahai Pilgrimage“.

Another type of posts is related to Holy Days. These posts have been gathered under a new page called “Holy Days“. In this page, you can find all posts that could be helpful in celebrating or commemorating the Holy Days.

A final new page has also been added called “Stories“. This year, most of the posts will be stories from the amazing history of our Faith. All such posts will be gathered there.

I hope you all have enjoyed reading posts on this blog as I have enjoyed posting them.

Happy Naw Ruz.

The Blessed Beauty revealed a Tablet in which He extols this act of pilgrimage. Bahá’u’lláh states that this deed of Jináb-i-Zayn radiates as bright as the sun among his other deeds. Bahá’u’lláh further states that with this act, all his other deeds were fulfilled and accepted in the eyes of God.

Mouthpiece of God

The door of the knowledge of the Ancient Being hath ever been, and will continue for ever to be, closed in the face of men. No man’s understanding shall ever gain access unto His holy court. As a token of His mercy, however, and as a proof of His loving-kindness, He hath manifested unto men the Day Stars of His divine guidance, the Symbols of His divine unity, and hath ordained the knowledge of these sanctified Beings to be identical with the knowledge of His own Self. (Gleanings from the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, XXI, page 49-50)

Family joining Him in the Ridván Garden

“Bahá’u’lláh left His home “on the thirty-second day after Naw-Ruz for the Ridvan Garden. On that same day the river overflowed and only on the ninth day was it possible for His family to join Him in the Garden. The river then overflowed a second time, and on the twelfth day it subsided and all went to Him.”[1]
