This is the second in a series of posts about the life of the Blessed Beauty covering His Life from 1844 until being banished to Iraq in 1852. The concept is to present the Life of Bahá’u’lláh with the aid of images and texts from Bahá’í sources. Perhaps these materials can be of use when preparing presentations about Life of the Blessed Beauty. The materials can also be used for individual deepening in connection with the Twin Holy Day celebrations. The two files together present the Life of Bahá’u’lláh. The first file provides explanations and stories compiled from the Bahá’í Writings and history books while the second contains images.

Not long ago, I participated in a Naw-Rúz celebration with many friends of the faith attending. Needless to say, that required an introductory talk to both the Faith and Naw-Rúz. The talk takes about 10 minutes and is based on the presentation of the Faith introduced in Ruhi book 6. It also briefly introduces Naw Rúz. Below you will find a fairly comprehensive program for celebrating the Declaration of the Báb. The intention is to provide materials that the friends can use in preparing programs or for personal use when celebrating the Declaration of the Báb. The concept of the program is to start from today and trace it back to that momentous Day. Then the events that transpired in the physical world are described followed by some excerpts on what happens when a Manifestation of God Declares His Mission and God speaks again. Finally the program concludes with the some quotes about the Station of the Báb and what this important Day means in our daily lives today. You can also download Program for the Declaration of the Báb as a pdf.

Leaving the “Most Holy Habitation”

On the thirty-first day after Naw-Ruz in 1863*, Bahá’u’lláh left “for the last time, amidst weeping and lamentation, His “Most Holy Habitation,” out of which had “gone forth the breath of the All-Glorious,” and from which had poured forth, in “ceaseless strains,” the “melody of the All-Merciful,” [1]
