Being resilient means to be able to “bounce back” or “spring back” after being bent or reshaped by external pressures. In life, we go through a lot of crisis or events of sad nature and being resilient means to be able to handle it and bounce back from it. How is the interesting question. Looking at the life of The Greatest Holy Leaf, we can learn much about how to become more resilient in our lives. I was asked to give a talk on the subject. I based the talk heavily on Dr. Janet Khan’s book “Prophets Daughter” as it is just simply excellent. Here are my notes for the talk if you are interested. One could say it is a summary of Dr. Khan’s book even if I have added some materials from other sources.
